Omek Career Day

Making career advice worth showing up for.

The story

Omek Career Day brings professionals and industry voices together to help diverse talent navigate careers, opportunities and the realities of building a professional life.

The challenge was to market the event without falling into the familiar “join us for an inspiring day” language that makes career events start sounding interchangeable. The campaign needed to make the value of attending tangible, while giving speakers, sessions and practical takeaways their own reasons to earn attention.

The goal: build a content journey that moved audiences from discovering the event to understanding its value and, ultimately, registering to attend.

What we made

We developed the campaign messaging and social content strategy around the questions, ambitions and career challenges the audience was already thinking about.

Rather than relying on repeated registration pushes, the campaign used different content formats to move people through the awareness, consideration and conversion journey. Event announcements established the opportunity, speaker-led content introduced expertise and credibility, programme content made the value proposition more concrete, and practical career-focused posts gave audiences useful takeaways before Career Day even began.

The messaging was then adapted across social and email touchpoints, creating a consistent campaign narrative while allowing each asset to do a different job in the lead-up to the event.

In other words: less “don’t forget to register”, more reasons to actually want to.

One event. A whole career conversation around it.
